The never ending cruise!

Well, we have decided that we will never take a 7 day cruise with a 14 month old again. While the trip had a few relaxing moments, Micah was not a big fan of being on a ship for 7 days. He did not really care for the crowds, having to share a room with mommy and daddy, sleeping in a tiny crib that squeaked every time he rolled over, and the sand on the beaches when we would actually get to get off the boat. He did however enjoy the kiddy pool when noone else was around, chewing on the ice that he carried with him everywhere, playing in the casino and arcade, and running up and down the halls at 3:30 AM. Yes, that is right, 3 IN THE MORNING! Let's just say we were all very glad to be back home.

Easter!

While I am loving this weather, the humidity is doing nothing for my hair.  Gotta love the curls!  :)

We have had a great spring so far.  I have been getting everything ready to step in as the new Drill Team Director at Magnolia High School, and Shaun has been training for the MS 150.  Micah is continuing to grow so fast and running even faster.

Shaun and I looked at a day care this morning.  I am still having a tough time with putting him in a day care, but the one we looked at today seemed to calm all my fears.  I am just trying to be thankful for the time that I have had with him and am grateful that I am getting to do something I love and have missed so much, DANCE!

Micah had a great Easter.  We went to our friends, the Browns, house on Saturday for some hunting, food, and fun!  Micah ran to the first egg he saw and just wanted to get to the good stuff.  That evening, I ran in the Muddy Trails run and placed 3rd in the 20-29 female age group.  Then, Sunday morning, myself, Micah, Dada, Nana, and Papa all got ready for church.  Micah got a nice knot on his forehead when he decided to go into a full on sprint, trip, and fall, hitting the corner of the door stop.
